Ahmed Elkenany, an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA), completed his M.A. in counseling Psychology from the American University in Cairo (2016). He received his B.S. in Psychology from Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA, USA. He has four years of clinical experience in hospital and clinic settings. Ahmed uses an eclectic approach, predominantly Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Cognitive-Behavioral, tailored to meet the client’s needs. He is experienced in administering the diagnostic SCID-V (CV/PD) along with other psychometric tools for assessingpersonality (MMPI-2) and IQ (WAIS-IV). Ahmed is experienced in working with adolescents and adults, helping clients deal with various issues such as anxiety/stress, depression, relational issues, and other life problems. Ahmed is also experienced in helping clients deal with minority issues and the often difficult issues of sexuality and helping them achieve further levels of acceptance and happiness.
